🏃 Getting Started

Personal training is suitable for everyone — from complete beginners taking their first steps toward fitness, to experienced athletes preparing for Ironman competitions. Whether you're looking to lose weight, build strength, train for your first 5K, or complete your tenth marathon, personalized coaching adapts to your current level and goals. I work with clients of all ages and fitness backgrounds, creating programs that meet you exactly where you are.

With over 20 years of experience in endurance sports and having completed 20+ Ironman triathlons and 40+ marathons, I bring real-world racing experience to every training plan. I don't just coach from textbooks — I've lived the challenges you're facing. My approach combines science-based training methods with practical experience, personalized attention, and multilingual coaching (English, French, German, Luxembourgish, Czech).

Getting started is simple! Contact me via email (filip.morch@gmail.com) or phone (+352 621 633 330) to schedule a free initial consultation. During this meeting, we'll discuss your goals, current fitness level, training history, schedule, and any limitations. From there, I'll design a personalized training plan tailored to your needs. No pressure, no commitment required for the initial chat — just an honest conversation about how we can work together.

💪 Training & Programs

I offer a wide range of programs including: Triathlon training, Running programs (5K to marathon), Strength and conditioning, Cross-training and injury prevention, Aqua fitness for recovery and rehabilitation, Weight loss and general fitness, and Mental preparation for endurance events. Each program is fully customized to your goals, schedule, and fitness level.

I only offer in-person coaching. In-person sessions take place in Luxembourg at agreed-upon training venues (track, pool, gym, outdoor locations).

Training frequency depends on your goals, current fitness level, and available time. Beginners might start with 3-4 sessions per week, while athletes preparing for Ironman competitions may train 6-7 days per week with varying intensities. The key is quality over quantity — I'd rather you train 4 days consistently and effectively than burn out trying to do 7. We'll design a schedule that fits your life while still delivering results.

📅 Practical Information

In-person sessions in Luxembourg take place at various locations depending on the type of training: Running: Outdoor trails, parks, or track facilities; Swimming: Local pools; Cycling: Road routes or designated cycling areas; Strength training: Gyms or outdoor fitness areas; Aqua fitness: Pool facilities equipped for aqua training. We can also arrange sessions at a location convenient for you within Luxembourg.

Equipment needs vary by program. For running: proper running shoes and comfortable athletic clothing. For triathlon: bike, helmet, swim gear, and run equipment. For strength training: gym access or basic home equipment (resistance bands, weights). For aqua fitness: swimsuit and access to a pool. I'll provide a detailed equipment list based on your specific program. Don't worry if you're just starting out — we'll prioritize essentials and build up gradually.

Coaching fees vary based on program type, and session frequency. I offer flexible packages including single sessions, monthly plans, and long-term coaching agreements. Investment in your health and performance is important, and I strive to provide excellent value at competitive rates. Contact me directly for specific pricing tailored to your needs. The initial consultation is always free, so we can discuss options without commitment.

Absolutely! Small group training (2-4 people) is a great option for those who enjoy training with friends or want a more affordable coaching option. Group sessions work best when participants have similar fitness levels and goals. Training with others adds motivation, accountability, and a fun social element. Plus, Lou (our Chief Motivation Officer 🐕) loves group sessions! Contact me to discuss group training options and availability.

🎯 Results & Goals

Results depend on your starting point, goals, and consistency. Many clients notice improvements in energy and confidence within 2-3 weeks. Measurable fitness gains typically appear after 4-6 weeks of consistent training. Significant body composition changes take 8-12 weeks. Race-specific preparation for events like half-marathons or triathlons requires 12-20 weeks depending on the distance.

That's completely normal and expected! Life happens, and not every workout goes perfectly. If you're struggling with a session, communicate with me — we'll adjust the plan accordingly. Training plans are guidelines, not rigid rules. Fatigue, stress, illness, and schedule changes all affect performance. What matters most is consistency over time, not perfection in every single session. I'd rather you complete a modified workout than skip it entirely or push through and risk injury or burnout.

Yes, I provide general nutrition guidance and race-day fueling strategies as part of coaching. This includes advice on pre-workout meals, hydration strategies, race nutrition planning, and overall healthy eating principles for athletes. However, I'm not a registered dietitian, so for detailed meal planning or specific dietary concerns, I can refer you to qualified nutrition professionals. My focus is on practical, sustainable nutrition strategies that support your training and performance goals.

Absolutely — this is one of my specialties! With experience completing 20+ Ironman triathlons and 40+ marathons, I understand exactly what it takes to prepare for race day. I'll design a periodized training plan that builds your fitness progressively, incorporates race-specific workouts, includes mental preparation strategies, and tapers properly before your event. Whether it's your first 5K or your tenth Ironman, we'll create a plan that gets you to the start line confident and the finish line strong.
